Sorting search, filtering results and export to Excel

We've implemented new features: Sorting search, filtering results and export to Excel.

Now after using search or filtering function you can sort results and export records to an Excel file and export all files (if you have any files in your database).

We have online database UEFA Country Ranking.

1) Use search or filtering and find records you need.

Add a search criteria and click on Search button.

2) Click on a green arrow and sort your results by a selected column.

3) To create a view click on button Save result (more about views creation read here). You can Export all records you have found to Excel, click on icon Export to Excel.

4) All data will be sent to your account email address.

5) You will receive an email with an attached Excel file.

You can export not only text records but also all your files (for example, if you have an online media database). Click on button Export all files.

We have limits for backup - it's 1 Gb. So if you have more than 1 Gb database you can't export the whole database from MTH - only 1 Gb.

The solution of the situation:

Create a view and step by step export the whole database. For example, you can create a view with records for a certain time period. This is a way to export (backup) parts of your database step by step. 

To enable Export to Excel in an integrated database table you need to do the following steps:

1. Go to the Customize & Integrate module.

2. Open a Database tab.

3. Click on Actions and select options Enable Export to Excel (on this page you can find other options: search, filtering, grouping).

On an integrated database table find icon Export to Excel and click on it.
