Click it and fill with your sell brands. - Second field “Type”, select type Select or Drop Down. Click “Set default value” link and fill with your sell car types. - Next field “Model” – type String. In this field your can enter model of the car (only text symbols). - Color, type Check box. In this field your can select one of few colors. - Fields “Description” and “Experts Comment”. Type Text or Multiple Lines - Field “Price $” – type integer. Your can use only numeric data. - Next field “Credit sale” – type boolean. It’s Logical type. User can select one of two logical values (Yes/No). - Also your can state the date of the sale car, field “Sale Date” – type Date. - If you need to upload more information about car you can use fields Image, File. - To state the country where the car has been got from please use field type Country. - Next Field “Experts opinion”. To select one of few points I use field type radio button. So now your form has done. You can enter data. Go to menu Records and start data adding. If you have done everything correctly will appear your first record. For form submit use Widget Builder module. ===========================================================

Steps:

1. On "My Projects" page create new project “Tow fields”
2. Create new form “Test”
3. Into the form place two fields: string type “one line”, text type “multiple line”

4. Under field click on link Set Validation, then in the window choose for field “one line” Inclusion, for field “multiple line” choose Exclusion.

For “one line” in field Within you can enter words/phrase, which must be included in the list! For “multiple line” in field Within you can enter words/phrase, which must not be included in the list!

5. Next step click "See Test in action" and enter you data

6. MyTaskHelper will check the data that you entered.

When you correct all mistakes click "Create" Now you have first record: Now you see how easy and quickly to create a database with MyTaskHelper.

We created Form field Email, but user can input any string. So let's add validation. Click on 'Validation' link under Email property and check 'Email'. Set validation for properties/form fields in MyTaskHelper.com Noticed a lot of options? Yeah, you can create fairly good validations easelly.

Examples would include checking if a statement is true (validity), if an appliance works as intended, if a computer system is secure, or if computer data are compliant with an open standard. Validation implies one is able to document that a solution or process is correct or is suited for its intended use.

In computer terminology, validation refers to the process of data validation, ensuring that data inserted into an application satisfies per-determined formats or complies with stated length and character requirements and other defined input criteria. It may also ensure that only data that is either true or real can be entered into a database.

With using Form Validation now MyTaskHelper web database builder is a really powerful tool. By means of this service you can greatly increase your database fields. When you making the form in Form Builder module for each field you have link Validation. Click on it and you will see the window, in which you can select required validation type.

Detailed description of the MyTaskHelper validations types :

• No duplicate entries

This option allows to check record uniqueness (in field string); presence in database alike importance (for fields integer, float); checking the files and images are conducted with alike names (for fields file, image); also for fields language,country, time_zone validation uniqueness will allow to check presence such record; for field check_box given option allows to choose concrete element from list only once.

• Validate only on Submit.

Given option is addition to all. Having chosen it user indicates that check by field follows to produce only after striking the button "Create".

• Email

For fields string, text, possible to choose Email validation. Сhecking for presence in field email address.

• Presence

The User installs check of presence record in a field.

• Length

Possible assign necessary length of the field. Length option has three parameters (Is,Minimum,Maximum);

• Inclusion

Quick and easy way to create a client list.

Steps of creation:

1. Login to MyTaskHelper
2. Create new project “First project”
3. Create new form “Registration form”
4. Now you can place into form fields: name, username, email, address, bio, photo, registration date, etc.

Your form should look like this:

5. Ok, so now we have form with fields. Good. Have a talk about validation. Under fields click on link “Set validation”. Appear new window with all validation types. Choose those needed. To all fields select presence, validate only on submit.

Presence - this option don’t allow for user leaves fields blank. Validate only on submit - if you select this system feature will check all fields only after pressed “Create”. For field "Username" also you can select Uniqueness, more about this option here, and for field Email select Email.

6. Enter you data. It should look like this

If you have done everything correctly you will see first record.
